Soliciting input from the group regarding a Jobie-to-be event in August....

Considering that we have nearly a half dozen petitions out and we have several interested young ladies, it was recommended that we host a prospective member event in August to let our future members get to know our current members a little better. I see a couple of options:

#1 - Pool Party at Sarah's House
I would be happy to host a pool party at my house - we can do a potluck and swim all afternoon. This would be easy to organize, would be minimal in cost (I'll provide the bbq items), would be a fun way to talk about everyone's summer adventures, and is fairly close for everyone to drive to.

#2 - Statewide Jobie-to-be Event
Amber S. has organized a Jobie-to-be event for the state on August 25th. The event will be at Enchanted Forest on the south end of Salem. I am not sure of the cost, but there are a few more slots open for girls to get half off their admission when they bring a prospective member.

Frankly, I think we should host a Bethel event and then anyone who wants to go to the Enchanted Forest can attend both. Thoughts? Suggestions? Dates that would work for folks (Aug. 26)?
