Flights to Supreme Session 2007

Several people were asking me this week about flights to Supreme Session, so I thought I would post what I know.... First off, your best bet is to fly in and out of Chicago. It's much much closer than Indianapolis and the flights are cheaper. You can either take a shuttle from the airport to Session or rent a car.

Assuming that you want to fly out Sunday the 22nd and return Sunday the 29th (at no specific time of day), right now here are the cheapest tickets I could find on the following airlines:
> Northwest = $520 (www.nwa.com)
> Delta = $576 (www.orbitz.com)
> Southwest = $583 (www.southwest.com)
> United = $591 (www.orbitz.com) direct flight

Everything else was north of $600.

However, there are a couple of creative solutions that knock the price down below $500. If you leave either Saturday the 21st, or wait until Monday the 23rd, that drops the price $50-100. If you are willing to come back on Monday the 30th, that drops the price. If you're willing to fly in the middle of the night or the crack of dawn, that also keeps the cost lower.

The cheapest ticket I found was a 21st or 23rd departure with a 29th return for $470 on Northwest Airlines (www.nwa.com). This flight leaves Portland at 12:30 AM (red-eye flight) on Sunday and leaves Chicago at 6:25 AM on the following Sunday.

Any more questions... I will see you all tomorrow and Thursday and you can hit me up then!
